The Penrith Panthers<\/a> have had a win in the player market with hooker Mitch Kenny re-signing on a three-year contract extension.<\/p>\n

Kenny will now remain at the club until the end of the 2027 season after replacing Apisai Koroisau last year and scoring a try in the grand final. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'm thrilled to commit to the Panthers because this place is home to me," Kenny said.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old made his debut for the Panthers in 2019 having played his junior rugby league \ufeffwith the club.<\/p>\n

Kenny has gone on to make 86 NRL appearances and has now won two premierships having been made a late starter in the 2022 win over the Eels. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Kenny's re-signing comes after he was hit with a one-match suspension at the start of the year and a $10,000 fine – with half suspended – due to a\ufeffn Instagram story that brought the game into disrepute<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Panthers have recently announced the re-signings of centres Taylan May<\/a> and Izack Tago<\/a>. \ufeff<\/p>\n
