A\ufeffustralian superstar Jordan Mailata<\/a> has inked a fresh NFL<\/a> contract reportedly worth $100 million.<\/p>\n

ESPN's senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reports the deal with the Philadephia Eagles<\/a> is worth $33.4m per year.<\/p>\n

The Eagles confirmed the three-year extension.<\/p>\n

It means Mailata – a former rugby league junior player with the Rabbitohs – will be with the Eagles until the end of 2028.<\/p>\n

The salary puts him behind only three other offensive tackles in the NFL – Laremy Tunsil, Trent Williams and Andrew Thomas earn more.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old stands at 203 centimetres tall and is said to weigh in at 166 kilograms.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHe was born in Bankstown in Sydney's south west, and played juniors for both the Bulldogs and then Rabbitohs.<\/p>\n

But he ditched rugby league to head overseas and try his hand at American football – a decision that has now proved highly lucrative.<\/p>\n

\ufeff\ufeffHe joined the NFL's international player pathway (IPP) then was selected by the Eagles in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft.<\/p>\n

Initially his deal with the Eagles \ufeffwas worth $3.8m over four years.<\/p>\n
