L\ufeffatrell Mitchell<\/a> has been charged by the NRL<\/a> judiciary for an ugly incident that saw Josh Addo-Carr<\/a> knocked out on Good Friday.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old rushed across to save a try and collected Addo-Carr in the head with his hip, but was not penalised or placed on report during the game.<\/p>\n

Mitchell has been hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge and will be fined $1800 with an early guilty plea, but risks a $2500 fine if he fights it and loses.<\/p>\n

NRL legend Andrew Johns saw no major issues with the challenge from the Souths superstar at the time, despite the impact and Addo-Carr being knocked out.<\/p>\n

"All accidental, he just gets his head caught up," he said during Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

"I don't think there's anything illegal in it."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Mitchell's fine is on the higher-end of the scale due to his previous on-field indiscretions, but will not be suspended regardless of any guilty plea or verdict.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Stemming from the same match, Bulldogs forward Kurtis Morrin is facing a two-game suspension for a dangerous throw on Cameron Murray<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old was sin-binned during the second half of the Rabbitohs' 20-16 win at Accor Stadium, after he awkwardly lifted the Souths captain into a dangerous position.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Morrin will miss a fortnight with an early guilty plea, but risks three weeks on the sidelines should he fight the charge at the judiciary and lose.<\/p>\n

Blake Taaffe was the only other player charged following a dramatic clash at Accor Stadium, with the Canterbury fullback facing a $1000 fine for dangerous contact.<\/p>\n
