Tim Tszyu<\/a> and Sebastian Fundora<\/a> have locked in their world title showdown and the undefeated Aussie believes it will be a case of 'David defeating Goliath' in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Both fighters weighed in at 152.8 pounds (69.3kg) at the official weigh-ins on Saturday morning (AEDT)\ufeff, before squaring off and shaking hands in a cordial meeting.<\/p>\n

Tszyu will enter the bout with a significant reach and height disadvantage, but remains the red-hot favourite to defend his WBO crown and add the WBC strap to his resume.<\/p>\n

Speaking live from Sin City, the 29-year-old took shots at some his division rivals and believes he will put on a "classic" display against Fundora.<\/p>\n

This is throwback era, none of these pussies that shouldn't be in this era anymore, this is throwback and me and Fundora are gonna put on a classic," Tszyu said.<\/p>\n

"As I said previously, David defeated Goliath and history repeats.<\/p>\n

"It's not just the country [of Australia], it's every boxing fan – I appreciate every single one of you. See you all there."<\/p>\n

\ufeffWith an unbeaten record of 24-0 and 17 wins via knockout, Tszyu is edging closer to legendary status inside the ring, but Fundora poses a tricky challenge given the obvious size differences between the pair.<\/p>\n

The rangy American was all smiles at the weigh-ins and hopes to put on a show.<\/p>\n

"I'm happy, we're at the end of the week and tomorrow's fight night – I'm ready to go," Fundora said.<\/p>\n

"I've just got to do what The Towering Inferno always does, do my best and give the fans an exciting fight.\ufeff"<\/p>\n

On the same card, Australian star Michael Zerafa will also compete for a world title, taking on Erislandy Lara\ufeff for the WBA middleweight strap.<\/p>\n

Zerafa weighed in at 158.6 pounds (71.94kg) for the clash on Sunday, with his opponent slightly heavier on the scales at 159.6 pounds (72.39kg).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
