The Roosters<\/a> have been left to ponder what could have been after a try \ufeffwas rubbed out during their 22-16 loss to the Panthers<\/a> at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Joseph Manu<\/a> looked to have crossed over in the 23rd minute after muscling his way over the Panthers defence.<\/p>\n

However, the Bunker<\/a> soon intervened, wiping off the score after deeming Jared Waerea-Hargreaves to have impeded Dylan Edwards at the back of the play.<\/p>\n

Panthers winger Sunia Turuva opened the scoring at Allianz Stadium, utilising his height against Daniel Tupou to score on the right edge.<\/p>\n

Dylan Edwards was in next for Penrith, maneuvering his way around the Roosters defence and putting in a grubber before taking the long way around to score himself.\ufeff Not long after, Edwards added an extra two points with a penalty goal.<\/p>\n

On the stroke of half-time, Sam Walker put in his own deft grubber close to the line with Sitili Tupouniua\ufeff winning a foot race with Turuva to ground the ball before the dead ball line.<\/p>\n

Walker followed up with the conversion as the Panthers took a 14-6 lead into the main break. \ufeff<\/p>\n

In a moment of d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu, Turuva scored the first try of the second half before a successive effort completed his hat-trick.<\/p>\n

M\ufeffavrik Geyer, son of Penrith legend Mark, made his first-grade debut when he was injected into the match in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n
