K\ufeffevin Walters<\/a> has committed to the Broncos<\/a> for a further season, with the head coach and club legend signing a new deal until the end of 2026.<\/p>\n

According to 9News reporter Ben Dobbin\ufeff, Brisbane have now opted to extend Walters' contract by a further season, while his remaining two years have been upgraded.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old took over the job from Anthony Seibold three years ago and has taken the Broncos from a wooden spoon outfit to a genuine title contender.<\/p>\n

Last season, the Broncos came within a whisker of their first NRL premiership since 2006, before a masterclass from Nathan Cleary broke the hearts of the side.<\/p>\n

In recent months, Walters has overseen a number of key player extensions at Red Hill, with five-eighth Ezra Mam re-signing with the Broncos and reports circling that superstar fullback Reece Walsh is on the verge of a new deal.<\/p>\n
