I\ufefft's a good news, bad news scenario for the Sydney Roosters<\/a>, with star halfback Sam Walker<\/a> cleared of a concussion but a number of other players in doubt for round four.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old left the field in Friday night's massive win over the Rabbitohs<\/a> and was initially deemed to be suffering category one symptoms by the independent doctor.<\/p>\n

However, the club has now confirmed Walker passed his HIA and has been downgraded to category two, which will see him line up against Penrith on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The outlook isn't as positive for Lindsay Collins however, with the towering front-rower suffering a low grade hamstring strain and will now begin a rehab process.<\/p>\n

Collins is expected to miss at least a week for the Chooks, which could see Terrell May start at prop alongside Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.<\/p>\n

At this stage, the Maroons representative is likely to miss at least a fortnight.<\/p>\n

Sandon Smith \ufeffis another casualty for the Roosters, with the young five-eighth sustaining a 'significant medial ligament injury' to his elbow.<\/p>\n

The young gun played the entire 80 minutes against the Bunnies, despite the initial hyperextension occurring before half-time, with the club unable to reveal a clear return date for the Central Coast product.<\/p>\n
