The Brumbies<\/a> have established themselves as bona fide Super Rugby Pacific<\/a> title contenders with another dominant display at home.<\/p>\n

Against Moana Pasifika, the men from the capital were 60-21 winners in a nine-try blitz.<\/p>\n

There's an air of confidence inside the Brumbies camp after arguably their most convincing win of the season.<\/p>\n

Yet, the Brumbies aren't getting too carried away knowing what's to come with a visit to Brisbane where they'll face the Reds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"I've not seen Bernie smile as much as this for a long time," said former Wallaby Justin Harrison on Stan Sport's coverage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Sixty points against Moana, did you see that coming?"<\/p>\n

Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham replied, "No \u2014 we had a good week. We had one training session and we trained exceptionally well.<\/p>\n

"We sort of turned things around a couple of weeks ago. I thought the preparation was good. I thought the intensity was where it needed to be.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Probably not 60 points, but you've got to be happy when you put 60 points on any team."<\/p>\n

Moana Pasifika looked threatening in the early going but ultimately the Brumbies overpowered them.<\/p>\n

While the visitors scored just three tries, Larkham still had some criticisms, conceding his men could have been better in defence and not let three tries slip.<\/p>\n

"I thought we could have worked hard in that D-zone. I think I said it at half-time, we were probably slow to fold around the corner and didn't get off the line," Larkham explained.<\/p>\n

"The only reason they got in there was because of our ill-discipline, just half a yard.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"We talked about getting back onside and giving about 50 centimetres at the back of a ruck, and we didn't do that on two occasions, which allowed them to get into the 22 which hurt us.<\/p>\n

"The other one is in the second half, we were down a man there. We need to tidy that up. That was disappointing as well.<\/p>\n

"We spoke about it at half-time. We didn't want any more points put on us and a bit of ill-discipline again, getting the yellow card."<\/p>\n

The Brumbies head to Brisbane for round six where they'll face fellow front-runners the Reds, while Moana Pasifika hosts the Blues in Auckland.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Reds came into round five second on the ladder behind the chart-topping Hurricanes.<\/p>\n

It's a blockbuster clash for both teams with the first chance for either side to potentially establish themselves as the leading Australian team in Super Rugby Pacific.<\/p>\n

Maintaining momentum heading into that fixture is key, according to Larkham.<\/p>\n

"We've got two days off, so the challenge for us will be Saturday, Sunday off, we come in on Monday. We want to make sure our mindset is right," said Larkham.<\/p>\n

"We felt it in the second round where we came back in after a couple days off, we didn't really train with the intensity that we were after. That'll be the challenge first.<\/p>\n

"They're playing good footy, there's no doubt about that. Their attack is really, really good. It's enjoyable to watch. It'll be a big crowd up there. It'll be a good entertaining crowd as well.<\/p>\n
