Young G\ufeffeelong<\/a> forward Ollie Dempsey has declared the Cats forward line is the "best in the league", ahead of their trip to face Adelaide on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old is fresh off his rising star nomination for a standout performance that saw him boot three goals against the Saints<\/a> in round one, helping his side to an eight-point victory in front of their home crowd.<\/p>\n

Dempsey doesn't want to take any credit, though, pushing the spotlight back on his forward partners in Tom Hawkins and Jeremy Cameron's impact on the side.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The youngster, who has played just eight games, says he's drawing inspiration from the "best" to pull on the boots.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It's such a good forward line to be a part of. I think it's the best in the league," Dempsey said at Kardinia Park on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

"To be part of that now is so cool, especially having the two big guys down there (Hawkins and Cameron), it's sick."<\/p>\n

Meantime, Tanner Bruhn will be on the flight \ufeffto Adelaide ahead of Friday night's clash, with coach Chris Scott confident he'll get up, despite his sprained foot.<\/p>\n

"I know that we've said he's a test. What I think you should read into that is that we just need to triple check that he's OK," Scott said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt's a match that no Cats player wants to miss, with superstar premiership defender Tom Stewart notching up game 150.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHis journey to the top was an unorthodox one, being scouted as a mature age recruit by one of the Cats' greatest defenders of all time, Matthew Scarlett in 2017.<\/p>\n

"It feels as if he's been around a lot longer\ufeff. I don't think we should ever forget the way he came into the system," Scott said.<\/p>\n

The Cats will have the stem the flow of returning Crows veteran Tex Walker, who suffered a back spasm ahead of round one and was sidelined at the last minute.<\/p>\n

"We would expect that he would play," Scott said.\ufeff<\/p>\n
