\ufeffSouth Sydney Rabbitohs<\/a> star recruit Jack Wighton<\/a> has revealed a swear jar has been implemented at training after Latrell Mitchell<\/a>'s infamous interview with Triple M.<\/p>\n

NRL chief executive officer Andrew Abdo has requested a meeting with Mitchell over the interview which featured several profanities.<\/p>\n

Wighton admitted the swearing probably went too far and \ufeffadmitted the cheeky initiative has been put in place.<\/p>\n

"We've got a swear jar at training now and we'll leave it at that."<\/p>\n

The new signing added that Mitchell won't have responsibility for keeping an eye on the jar.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We can't trust him too much with the swear jar, he'll rob it, \ufeffso I'll look after that one," he laughed.<\/p>\n

Teammate Isaiah Tass added "Latrell might chuck a couple of dollars in there".<\/p>\n

Despite criticism for his comments, Mitchell has found supporters too.<\/p>\n

Toby Rudolf \ufeffdefended his rival<\/a> on Nine's The Sunday Footy Show<\/em> while Paul Gallen believes he was doing it intentionally<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mark Geyer also \ufeffsaid it was an "<\/em>up-yours to the hierarchy"<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His captain Cameron Murray also spoke on Monday, stating "I didn't see too much wrong with it to be honest".<\/p>\n

"Trell is Trell and I think what we do at this club really well is empower people to be themselves and I know if he had his time again he'd probably be a bit more selective about the words he chose but that's what happens when you grab somebody whose emotions are still running high after the game, 30 seconds after the final siren's gone.<\/p>\n

"That's what happens. I know he didn't mean any harm by it, I think it's unfair to judge him and his character off that one interview itself.<\/p>\n

"He does a lot of great things for the community and us here … as far as I'm concerned I didn't see too much wrong with it.<\/p>\n
