N\ufeffRL<\/a> legend Brad Fittler<\/a> has spotted the "amazing moment" that handed the Storm a chance at victory after Xavier Coates' miracle try<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The visitors led 26-18 with three minutes left in the match at AAMI Park, before Ryan Papenhuyzen scored to make it 26-24.<\/p>\n

Coates' four-pointer, labelled "the best try I've ever seen" by Michael Ennis on Fox League, then sealed the comeback victory right on full-time.<\/p>\n

\ufeffDespite the unbelievable work done by the Storm to get themselves back in the contest, Fittler identified the moment the Warriors let them back into it late in the match<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With 56 seconds left and the Storm down by two points, five-eighth Jonah Pezet took the ball behind the 40m line and attempted a two-point field goal on the last tackle.<\/p>\n

Attempting to put pressure on the kicker, Warriors forward Mitch Barnett was struck by the ball, giving possession back to the Storm and Coates scored off the back of it.<\/p>\n

"The amazing part of this was actually the Warriors prior to that \ufefflast set of six did a great job in defence, they actually kept them to the other side of the field," Fittler said on Nine's Sunday Footy Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"Pezet got the ball and had to run back behind the 40 (metre line) on the last tackle to have a shot at field goal, but silly Mitch Barnett somehow got his back in the road.<\/p>\n

"There was no way in the world he was going to kick the field goal … they got another set of six and that's how they scored on the back of that.<\/p>\n

"Their set of six in defence was fantastic, they should have won the game."<\/p>\n

The loss for the Warriors means they've lost two in a row to start the season and will come up against an unbeaten Raiders side next week.<\/p>\n
