Top-ranked Iga Swiatek<\/a> has routed Marta Kostyuk 6-2, 6-1 on Saturday (AEDT) to reach the BNP Paribas Open final at Indian Wells<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swiatek improved her overall record to 19-2 for the year, with her match wins leading the WTA Tour despite a shock early exit from the Australian Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old will face the winner of the other semi-final between Coco Gauff and Maria Sakkari in Monday's final, with Swiatek holding a strong record against both.<\/p>\n

Swiatek won the 2022 tournament as part of a 37-match winning streak and believes she is on track to take it out again this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was the cleanest match I played here,\u201d she said post-match.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn't really have any moment today in the match where I didn't feel confident."<\/p>\n

As for \ufeffwho she would prefer to face in the decider, Swiatek admitted it would 'stupid' to answer given the quality of both her potential opponents.<\/p>\n

"There's no preference," she said.<\/p>\n

"It would be stupid for me to say anything. Both of these players are really great and experienced. They are gonna be fighting today … it's gonna be tough either way."<\/p>\n

The match between Gauff and Sakkari was suspended at the end of the first set with the Greek star leading the contest.<\/p>\n
