Sydney<\/a> ruckman Brodie Grundy<\/a> has won yet another match over a former side, this time defeating Collingwood by 33 points at the MCG on Friday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It comes just a week after he helped Sydney to a 22-point win over his other old side, Melbourne<\/a>, at the SCG.<\/p>\n

Grundy's exit from Melbourne\ufeff was far from a pretty one, but he finally feels like he can call the Swans home after a painful 2023 campaign with the Demons.<\/p>\n

He was originally traded from Collingwood<\/a> to the Dees at the end of 2022,\ufeff with promise he would make a new-look rucking powerhouse with captain Max Gawn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Instead, he was sent down to the VFL in order to hone his craft as a forward<\/a>, but struggled to make it back into the side, meaning he also missed out on the Demons' failed finals campaign.<\/p>\n

At the end of last season, Grundy made the call to move up north to join the Swans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although it's only been two games, Grundy has dominated in both of the Swans victories, both home and away.<\/p>\n

Against Collingwood he has eight touches, 22 hit outs and collected four clearances, helping his elite midfield group of Isaac Heeney and Chad Warner to present to their powerhouse forwards.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe week before, Grundy had a massive 23 disposals and nine clearances against Melbourne.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old says his passion has simply returned for the game he was starved of last season, expressing his admiration of the Swans' 'Bloods' culture that is so highly revered.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Learning about the history of the football club, it's very much a people's club built on the back of hard work," Grundy said post match on Fox.<\/p>\n

"I'm very much enjoying my time there.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It was a good showing. I'm pretty speechless, it was just good to get a win."<\/p>\n

Coming out of the Melbourne football bubble that is noted for its intensity, Grundy declared that he is happier than ever up north.<\/p>\n

"It's good. I'm really enjoying it," he said<\/p>\n

"When you get the fans coming out and you start the season like this, it makes it really enjoyable.\ufeff<\/p>\n
