B\ufeffriton Nikora<\/a> will spend at least two weeks on the sidelines after being charged by the NRL<\/a> judiciary for a high shot on Viliame Kikau<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The star back-rower was sin-binned in the first-half against the Bulldogs and has now been hit with a grade two careless high tackle charge.<\/p>\n

Nikora will miss two matches with an early guilty plea, but risks a further match on the sidelines should he fight the charge and lose.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media post-game, head coach Craig Fitzgibbon<\/a> admitted he didn't get a close enough look at the high tackle.<\/p>\n

"I saw it happen in live time and when the game got stopped, I thought it would be for a shoulder charge on Brit," he said.<\/p>\n

"I felt like the penalty was coming, but as to how bad it was – you've got to move on real quick because we are down to 12 men. You don't have time to analyse that\ufeff."<\/p>\n

Cameron Ciraldo<\/a> admitted the tackle 'didn't look great' in his own press conference, but claimed Nikora 'wasn't that type of player' \ufeffand didn't mean to collect Kikau high.<\/p>\n

In the other game on Friday, Penrith playmaker Jarome Luai<\/a> was charged twice by the judiciary, but will escape suspension with early guilty pleas. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The five-eighth will incur an $1800 fine for his grade one careless high tackle on Bailey Simonsson in the opening minutes of the game, while a dangerous contact charge for tripping Mitchell Moses will see Luai \ufeffcop a further $1800 penalty.<\/p>\n

If he decides to fight either charge and loses, Luai will be fined $2500. \ufeff<\/p>\n
