The Broncos<\/a> have been dealt an awful blow after Adam Reynolds<\/a> left the field during the side's 28-18 win<\/a> over South Sydney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reynolds was captured limping halfway through the second half, clutching at his heavily strapped right knee.<\/p>\n

The halfback battled to stay on the field, with Reece Walsh<\/a> having to convert his own try two minutes later as Reynolds was attended to by medical staff near the sideline.<\/p>\n

Eventually the 33-year-old left the field and failed to complete the match. \ufeff<\/p>\n

\ufeffNine's sideline reporter Danika Mason revealed it's the same knee he's had a reconstruction on before and said Broncos medical staff were "unsure of the damage" but "quite concerned about it". <\/p>\n

Broncos coach Kevin Walters confirmed Reynolds would head for scans post-match.<\/p>\n

"His knee's OK … unsure if there's any real long-term damage there," he told Nine's coverage before confirming Jock Madden will slot replace him if the scans aren't good.<\/p>\n

Post-game on Nine's coverage, teammate Patrick Carrigan joked "he's got one (injury) every week", before Reece Walsh continued the pile on.<\/p>\n

"H\ufeffe's a fossil … he's a stubborn little bugger and I knew he wouldn't want to come off," he laughed.<\/p>\n

"But we've got really good coaching staff and people looking after him so I think he'll be all right."<\/p>\n

A sloppy start to the match was broken up when Deine Mariner scored first off in the 17th minute off an Adam Reynolds grubber.<\/p>\n

Reece Walsh went over for his first moments later before Damien Cook was sin binned for \ufeffa professional foul.<\/p>\n

With Cook off, Reynolds kicked a penalty goal to make the lead 12-0. No further points were scored before half-time.<\/p>\n

South Sydney started the second half on fire when Siliva Havili and Davvy Moale scored in quick succession to make it even.<\/p>\n

Jesse Arthars, Walsh and Mariner all scored to give the Broncos back the lead before Latrell Mitchell went over for a consolation try right on full-time. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Along with the loss, Souths will have one concern with Davvy Moale on report in the first half when he dived at the legs of Patrick Carrigan.<\/p>\n

"You can't just dive in at someone's unprotected legs, they've got to know that," Paul Vautin said on Nine's coverage. \ufeff\ufeff<\/p>\n

The result means South Sydney have lost two in a row to start their season. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Broncos legend and director Darren Lockyer said he has concerns over Souths performance. \ufeff<\/p>\n
