D\ufeffarren Lockyer<\/a> says his former coach Wayne Bennett<\/a> needs to figure out how to inject some attacking flair into the Dolphins<\/a> as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The Redcliffe side was soundly beaten 43-18 by North Queensland in round one, in stark contrast from their NRL<\/a> debut victory against the Roosters to kick off last season.<\/p>\n

\ufeffTheir defence was poor – leaking seven Cowboys tries – but it was their work with the ball that left Lockyer most unimpressed.<\/p>\n

Two of their three tries came from front-rowers, while the third was to winger Jack Bostock.<\/p>\n

"They can't go into games and just rely on structured football," legendary playmaker Lockyer told Wide World of Sports' QLDER<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

"They need to have offloads, second phase, they need to create some unpredictable play.<\/p>\n

"From what I saw at the back of last year and early this year… defensively they can turn up every week and make it hard for opposition, but to find points in that team at the moment they need to find some second-phase footy.<\/p>\n

Following the dismal showing against the Cowboys, Bennett axed halfback Sean O'Sullivan and centre Tesi Niu.<\/p>\n

The supercoach has brought young talent Isaiya Katoa into the No.7 jumper for this week's clash with the Dragons, while off-season recruit Jake Averillo replaces Niu in the backline.<\/p>\n
