T\ufeffhe Dragons<\/a> have knocked back a request from Zac Lomax<\/a> to negotiate with rival NRL<\/a> clubs, reports The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Herald reports the $800,000-a-year star's management approached the club proposing a deal that could see Lomax leave immediately.\ufeff<\/p>\n

It comes as rumours swirl that Parramatta is keen to bring Lomax to Sydney's west to add him to the backline.<\/p>\n

The news that Lomax is disgruntled under Flanagan has baffled some commentators, with Sharks legend Paul Gallen on Monday clipping the young Dragon.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I don't know why he's not happy," Gallen told Wide World of Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"At the end of the day it's a team sport, and when you've got a coach like Shane Flanagan… he's been there and done it at all different levels.<\/p>\n

"I actually think it's a great position for Zac Lomax. Centres probably touch the ball less than wingers these days.\ufeff"<\/p>\n
