Quetta Gladiators had an awful start to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six’s campaign as they experienced a heavy defeat in the opening fixture against defending champions Karachi Kings.<\/p>\n

Sarfaraz Ahmed led Quetta Gladiators will have the opportunity today to put some points on the table against Lahore Qalandars in match four of PSL 6, who\u00a0got off to a brilliant start in the competition by winning against Peshawar Zalmi yesterday.<\/p>\n

Gladiators looked rusty in all departments of the game as they were wrapped up by Kaings for just 121 while they couldn’t manage to fight back with the ball.<\/p>\n

However, one positive sign for Gladiators was Mohammad Hasnain’s spell, who looked sharped and were clocking around 145+ kph. The youngster will be hoping to get some support from other bowlers.<\/p>\n

It would also be interesting to see who will open with Tom Banton or will skipper Sarfaraz continue at the top.<\/p>\n

In bowling, they might include Zahid Mehmood, who has a great domestic season and Pakistan debut where he bamboozled South Africans with his leg-spin bowling<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars created a unique record for themselves as it\u00a0was the first time they won their first match of any edition.<\/p>\n

Qalandars look strong despite their last year’s performers David Wiese and Samit Patel were not up to the mark but the inclusion of Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, provided them a depth in both departments of bat and ball<\/p>\n

Qalandars are expected to go unchanged and will look to continue their dominance in the tournament but the toss will play a key role due to dew factor.<\/p>\n

The match will be played at the National Stadium, Karachi at 7 pm.<\/p>\n
