Brisbane Broncos<\/a> hooker Billy Walters<\/a> has revealed the circumstances behind his teammates' awkward flight they had to share with the Roosters<\/a> from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The Roosters scored a 20-10 victory over the Broncos in a controversial match that involved a racial complaint being made against Spencer Leniu from Ezra Mam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both sides then had to board a short flight together, with Walters stating it was "a little bit" awkward but nothing outrageous came from it.<\/p>\n

"I think it all started to simmer down a little bit and I think everyone was pretty keen just to get home and they didn't want any more dramas," he told Triple M.<\/p>\n

"Everyone was just keen to get on the flight and back to Australia."<\/p>\n

Both sides then went their separate ways with the Broncos on a flight from LA back to Brisbane, while the Roosters flew to Sydney.<\/p>\n

Leniu has been sent straight to the judiciary<\/a> for an \ufeffalleged "monkey" comment towards Mam.<\/p>\n

The Roosters prop was then involved in a hotel confrontation with Kotoni Staggs<\/a> after the game, with Patrick Carrigan and Mam both reportedly present after the verbal stoush had started.<\/p>\n

Billy Walters said Mam was "doing well" in the aftermath. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"He's got a lot of support through the boys and all the club at the Broncos, so I think that's definitely lifted his spirits a bit knowing that he's not alone and that we don't stand for that," he explained.<\/p>\n
