noreferrer\" title=\"Formula 1\">Formula 1<\/a> team <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/alpine-f1\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"Alpine\">Alpine<\/a> have quit after a disappointing performance in the Bahrain Grand Prix, the first race of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Alpine said that technical director Matt Harman and head of aerodynamics Dirk de Beer had both \u201cchosen to leave the team to seek new challenges&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Alpine drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly started at the back of the grid after finishing last in qualifying for the Bahrain restructure its technical set-up following Harman and de Beer\u2019s departures to create three new positions instead of two.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"cdf039fc-daac-4d0f-a691-580f179705b6\" director (performance).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new three-pillared structure with three technical directors, each specialising in different areas, will bring better work and collaboration across our
