S\ufeffouth Sydney<\/a> has released injury-prone big man Daniel Suluka-Fifita and Canterbury has pounced.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs have signed the 112k 24-year-old on a two-year deal, starting immediately.<\/p>\n

\ufeffBulldogs supremo Phil Gould was seen\ufeff meeting with Suluka-Fifita last month.<\/p>\n

"Daniel is a tremendous young talent who has shown great potential coming through the pathways at Roosters and playing NRL at Souths," Gould said on Monday.<\/p>\n

"We are excited to have him at the club and he will add great depth to our forwards."<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs recently released middle forward Raymond Faitala-Mariner, who went to the Dragons.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Rabbitohs announced Suluka-Fifita's release a day after losing their season opener to Manly<\/a> in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Suluka-Fifita did not feature in that game and hasn't been seen on an NRL field since June last year.<\/p>\n

"Daniel has been hampered by injury over the past two years," head of football Mark Ellison said.<\/p>\n

"But he has always put his best foot forward with the opportunities he has been given to wear the Rabbitohs jersey.<\/p>\n

Suluka-Fifita made his NRL debut in 2020 for the Roosters and played 20 games for the club before jumping ship to Redfern.<\/p>\n
