T\ufeffhe Australian Rugby League Commission<\/a> has announced the 2024 NRL<\/a> and NRLW<\/a> grand finals will be played in Sydney.<\/p>\n

The ARLC and the NSW government went public with the news on Monday morning, hours after the season launched in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

The men's and women's premiership deciders will be played on Sunday, October 6 at Accor Stadium in Olympic Park.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"NSW is the home of the NRL and there is no better city in the world to host another incredible grand final showdown," state premier Chris Minns said.<\/p>\n

"The NRL grand final is one of our country's greatest annual sporting events and I can't wait for a whole new generation of footy fans to get to experience it right here in NSW."<\/p>\n

ARLC chairman Peter V'landys has previously threatened to take the game's big dance away from Sydney and host it in Queensland.<\/p>\n

But he's moved to lock the 2024 venue in early, eradicating the need for debate throughout the season.<\/p>\n
