S\ufeffydney Roosters<\/a> prop Spencer Leniu has commented on his alleged racially motivated comments against Broncos player Ezra Mam<\/a> in their Las Vegas season opener on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The off-season recruit \ufeffwas placed on report by referee Adam Gee during the second of two NRL<\/a> fixtures on Sunday afternoon, following a heated on-field incident that left Mam emotional and in tears.<\/p>\n

At this stage, there's no clear audio evidence of Leniu making the remark, but Mam and his teammates were heard yelling on the field that the front-rower called the five-eighth a "monkey".<\/p>\n

Post match, Leniu was questioned on the alleged comments by Triple M.<\/p>\n

"I think it's all fun and games when we're on the field.\ufeff That's it," he told Triple M.<\/p>\n

\"Spencer<\/p>\n

When asked if he's worried about the likely fall out from the alleged incident, Leniu remained coy.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Not worried at all\ufeff," he said.<\/p>\n

It was Leniu's first game for the Roosters.<\/p>\n

Roosters coach Trent Robinson \ufeffoffered limited comment on the incident after the game.<\/p>\n

\"Mam<\/p>\n

"I can't have any opinion on it, I don't know what happened," Robinson said post match.<\/p>\n

Told in the press conference that Mam \ufeffwas adamant the comment had been made, Robinson said: "That doesn't mean it's right, he obviously made the complaint\ufeff but that doesn't mean it's right, it will go through the formal process as it should."<\/p>\n

The coach added he hadn't spoken to Leniu about the specific incident. \ufeff<\/p>\n
