Big winners in round one, the Brumbies have crashed back to Earth in Super Round with a 46-12 loss to the high octane Chiefs on Sunday.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Brumbies were strangely never at the races at AAMI Park<\/a> and it is \ufeffback to the drawing board for Stephen Larkham and company as they reset to host the Force next weekend.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We just didn't turn up for some reason," Brumbies prop James Slipper said on Stan Sport.<\/p>\n

It could have been even worse for the Brumbies if not for \ufeffone of the all-time bombed tries from Chiefs star Shaun Stevenson.<\/p>\n

The fullback had a clean path to the try line in the second half but forgot to hang on to the ball under no pressure.<\/p>\n

"Just shelled it. Too much butter on the toast this morning," Joe Wheeler said on Stan Sport.<\/p>\n

"He won't live that down… the Chiefs boys, they love giving Shaun Stevenson a little bit of a ribbing, especially after a season like last year."<\/p>\n

The only dampener for the Chiefs was a late red card for \ufeffreserve prop Jared Proffit for his nasty head on head collision with big Brumbies lock Cadeyrn Neville.<\/p>\n

\ufeffConversely, the only real bright spot for the Brumbies was another sharp double to standout winger Corey Toole.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Canberrans were unable to slow down the Chiefs ball and ringmaster Damian McKenzie had a field day.\ufeff<\/p>\n
