Broncos<\/a> coach Kevin Walters<\/a> has asked for a meeting with NRL<\/a> officials to clarify how Sunday's historic double-header in Vegas<\/a> will be refereed.<\/p>\n

Due to the smaller size of Allegiant Stadium, the field will only be 96 metres long – and Walters believes that could lead to confusion.<\/p>\n

"It's very new to all of us so, we just wanted a chat on things like the 10-metre (offside) rule," Walters told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n

"The refs usually go by the lines on the field which are 10 metres apart.<\/p>\n

"But here they will be a little less than 10 metres\u2026 so what is offside?<\/p>\n

"If the play-the-ball is on the 20 metre line and the defence is on the 10 metre line, are they onside?<\/p>\n

"Because technically, they will only be nine and a bit metres apart\u2026 it could cause confusion so best to sort it out before the game."<\/p>\n

The four teams here in Vegas are also wary of the width of the field, which will be five metres shorter than usual.<\/p>\n

Standard NRL fields are 68 metres, whereas Allegiant Stadium – purpose built for NFL – is only 63.<\/p>\n

"It will definitely be different but we have trained for it," Manly coach Anthony Seibold said.<\/p>\n
