U\ufeffFC<\/a> president Dana White<\/a> denied the business has a problem with crowd violence after a wild brawl broke out at an event in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

While the argy-bargy is typically confined to inside the octagon, the action spilled over on Sunday (AEDT) when fans started trading punches.<\/p>\n

Vision leaked on social media showed a large group of people engaged in a brouhaha, while one man in particular floors two others with left-hook punches to the head.<\/p>\n

After the second man was knocked down with a blow to his chin most of the brawlers re\ufefftreated and it eventually died down.<\/p>\n

"There's been fights at fights before but never seen anything like this," UFC commentator Ariel Helwani posted on X.<\/p>\n

\"Fans<\/p>\n

"The part at the end with all of them standing there, clothes ripped makes it seem like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie."<\/p>\n

\ufeffWhile many viewers would have been horrified by the ugly scenes, UFC boss White didn't seem so fazed.<\/p>\n

And he says the incident is not emblematic of the type of fans the sport attracts.<\/p>\n

"The crazy thing about that fight, when that fight broke out it felt like it kept going forever," White told media afterwards.<\/p>\n

"I ran over there and I was watching it. Nobody stopped it.<\/p>\n

"I was waiting for security to come in. They just let them go until it was over. That's one of the craziest things I've ever seen.<\/p>\n

"I don't think it's a bad look for the UFC. It happened and that was the end of that.<\/p>\n

"I think after everybody else saw that shit, nobody else wanted to try that again.<\/p>\n
