Gold Coast Titans<\/a> forward Klese Haas has produced a priceless reaction after was put on report for a hair pull on Dolphins<\/a> utility Gerome Burns.<\/p>\n

Jumping out of hooker inside his first half, Burns broke the Dolphins line during their Pre-season Challenge fixture before he was stopped in his tracks by Haas as he pulled at his hair.<\/p>\n

Referee Chris Butler called a penalty once the tackle was completed, causing Haas to screw up his face.<\/p>\n

"I\ufefff you're going to have hair like that you're going to get it pulled," league legend Steve Roach said on Fox League.<\/p>\n

"I don't know how they train the off-season in the heat with hair like that."<\/p>\n

Haas was placed on report for the incident with the forward putting his hands in the air and looking confused.<\/p>\n

At the time of the incident, the Titans led 8-4 as the Des Hasler era looked to be starting in style.<\/p>\n

However, Wayne Bennett's Dolphins rallied strong\ufeff to claim a 26-14 victory.<\/p>\n

Rulings around hair pull penalties caused significant controversy last season when Tyson Frizell was \ufeffpunished for an incident<\/a> on Jarome Luai<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prior to the penalty, the NRL match review committee had charged 15 players in the past five years with hair pullin\ufeffg, however Frizell wasn't charged.<\/p>\n

NRL head of football Graham Annesley defended referee Peter Gough at the time.<\/p>\n

"I understand the argument that he's got long hair so you've got to expect that at some point it's going to get pulled, but he's not the only player in the competition with long hair, and we've got the NRLW competition," he said.<\/p>\n
