Manly Sea Eagles<\/a> prop Toafofoa Sipley will await to see if he has a case to answer after his tackle on Roosters<\/a> recruit Dominic Young led to him leaving the field.<\/p>\n

Sipley was penalised for pressure on the neck \ufeffin the second half of the trial match with Young staying down for a lengthy period.<\/p>\n

Footage of Young showed an obvious grimace on his face as he departed with the Roosters trainer. \ufeffPost-match it was revealed he was sent to hospital with footage on social media capturing him in a neck brace being wheeled away by paramedics.<\/p>\n

"(It's an) accident but wrestle someone into that position and that's a dangerous position\ufeff," rugby league great Greg Alexander said on Fox League.<\/p>\n

The trial match was Young's first hit out in Roosters' colours after his decision to leave the Knights. \ufeff<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The winger scored a try in the first half for the Tricolours, with the Sea Eagles leading 12-10 at the break.<\/p>\n

Tries to Sitili Tupouniua, Daniel Tupou, Connor Watson and Fetalaiga Pauga ensured the Roosters came back and finished 36-22 winners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite the victory, Roosters five-eighth Luke Keary<\/a> wasn't overly impressed with his side's performance. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIt was a bit of a disappointing day," he told Fox League.<\/p>\n

"It was good to get long minutes out, a lot of us haven't trialled for a long time now so it was good to have Teddy (James Tedesco) out there, good to have all the boys together and get a little hit out and get off to America."<\/p>\n

Keary added the most disappointing aspect of his side's performance came from a slow start\ufeff, the nature of Manly's tries and low intensity which the Roosters will have to fix ahead of their March 3 round one fixture against the Broncos at Las Vegas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
