Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> tight end Travis Kelce said he went too far when he bumped into coach Andy Reid and screamed at him<\/a> during the Super Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kelce addressed the situation on New Heights<\/em>, his podcast with his brother, long-time Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Red, sorry if I caught you with that cheap shot, baby,\u201d Travis Kelce said.<\/p>\n

During the second quarter of the game on Monday, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed a long pass to Mecole Hardman and Reid took Kelce out of the game for the next play.<\/p>\n

The play resulted in a fumble by Isiah Pacheco that San Francisco recovered. After the play, a fuming Kelce caused Reid to stumble.<\/p>\n

After the game, Kelce joked that he was just telling Reid how much he loves him. But the criticism rolled in, so the brothers talked through it on the podcast as they discussed Kansas City's 25-22 overtime win over the 49ers.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are all over this, and I mean, I get it,\u201d Travis said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou crossed a line,\u201d Jason Kelce said. \u201cI think we can both agree on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t get to the point where I\u2019m that fired up that I\u2019m bumping coach and it\u2019s getting him off balance and stuff. When he stumbled, I was like \u2018Oh (expletive)\u2019 in my head,\u201d Travis Kelce said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOr even, let\u2019s be honest, the yelling in his face, too," Jason Kelce said. "I think there\u2019s better ways to handle this retrospectively.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah. I know,\u201d Travis Kelce said. \u201cI\u2019m a passionate guy. I love coach Reid. Coach Reid knows how much I love to play for him, how much I love to be a product of his coaching career.\u201d<\/p>\n
