A\ufeffustralia is into the final of the men's under 19 Cricket<\/a> World Cup thanks to a thrilling one-wicket victory over Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Tom Straker took an incredible 6-24 as Pakistan was bowled out for 178 in 48.5 overs, before the Aussies reached the total in the last over of the match and with only one wicket in hand.<\/p>\n

They will now take on India in the final, replicating the men's ODI World Cup just a couple of months earlier.<\/p>\n

On that occasion Australia stunned India in the decider to claim another ODI trophy.\ufeff<\/p>\n

In this semi-final, Harry Dixon (50) and Oliver Peake (49)\ufeff starred in the chase but Australia fell to 9-164 and looked to be in serious trouble.<\/p>\n

That was until a last-wicket stand from Raf Macmillan (19 not out) and Callum Vidler (2 not out)\ufeff dragged the team over the line with five balls to spare.<\/p>\n

"We're really pleased to have fought our way through to the final and we can't wait to take on India on Sunday," coach Anthony Clark said.<\/p>\n

"The whole squad has done a terrific job throughout the tournament and there has also been a number of fantastic individual performances.<\/p>\n

"India have obviously also had an outstanding tournament so far and we're expecting they will provide very challenging opposition.<\/p>\n

"But if we bring the same level of skill and application we have in our games so far, I'm confident we can match it with anyone."<\/p>\n
