Jon Rahm<\/a> insists he has "no regrets" about moving to LIV Golf<\/a>, but admitted he hopes a "way back" can be found that would allow him and others to make a return to the PGA Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rahm finished third on his LIV debut in Mexico last week, and his Legion XIII team did enough to win the team event.<\/p>\n

He will be in action again at LIV's second event in Las Vegas this weekend. The PGA Tour meanwhile will be in Phoenix, Arizona, the TPC Scottsdale course located literally minutes from Rahm's home.<\/p>\n

Rahm joined LIV on a $900 million deal in December<\/a>. He's since missed a PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines, the scene of not only his first win on the tour in 2017, but also his 2021 US Open triumph.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the BBC, the 29-year-old Spaniard said he hopes to one day soon be able to play in those events.<\/p>\n

"It was a lot harder to be at home not competing and know that those events were going on \u2026 those weeks were hard," he said.<\/p>\n

"I've explained so many times how important Torrey is for me.<\/p>\n

\"Kieran<\/p>\n

"And driving by Phoenix as often as I had to and knowing that I wasn't going to play there, it's definitely emotional. That's one of the things that I'm going to miss."<\/p>\n

The two tours blindsided golf when they announced plans to merge last June,<\/a> but negotiations stalled and a new years deadline well expired.<\/p>\n

Talks between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) that bankrolls LIV have reportedly resumed.<\/p>\n

Rahm said despite his disappointment at missing some events, he doesn't regret the move.<\/p>\n

"I'm not typically a person that's going to regret any decisions," he said.<\/p>\n

"I made as educated a decision as I could with the full support of the people around me and [I am] confident that it was the right thing for me, so I'm not going to regret it.<\/p>\n

"If there's ever a way back (to the PGA Tour) and a way where we can play, even if it's as an invite, I will take it.<\/p>\n
