Naomi Osaka<\/a>'s incredible semi-final performance against Serena Williams<\/a> left no questions regarding her quality, but one thing she did upon exiting Rod Laver Arena raised questions.<\/p>\n

Osaka continued what has become a customary tennis tradition for the winning player: to sign the camera before leaving the arena, but it was her message that left people curious.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old exposed her sister Mari after her 6-3 6-4 win over Williams<\/a> with a bizarre message on the camera lens on one of the Rod Laver Arena cameras.<\/p>\n

"Mari stop sending werid (sic) images in the group chat!" Osaka wrote, leading tennis fans to wonder just what the older Osaka had been sending.<\/p>\n

The 2019 Australian Open champion eventually explained her message after her win in a post-match interview.<\/p>\n

"She sends really weird images and apparently I spelled 'weird' wrong so my bad," she said.<\/p>\n

"She sends really strange images in the group chat to me and my friends. Sometimes it's a bit disturbing but we love her either way."<\/p>\n

However, despite Naomi Osaka's explanation, Mari took it a step further on her personal Instagram account, revealing just what types of images she sends in the group chat.<\/p>\n

Osaka began her Instagram stories with one post saying, "To the ppl asking what I send in the gc", before following it with an image showing a super close-up of one person licking another person's eyeball.<\/p>\n

Through to another Australian Open final, Osaka will be the raging favourite in Saturday's decider against American No.22 seed Jennifer Brady.<\/p>\n

While she may have dismissed Williams in clinical fashion, Osaka was as classy as ever, paying tribute to the legend, who she idolised growing up.<\/p>\n

"I was just really, like, nervous and scared I think in the beginning. Then I sort of eased my way into it," she said.<\/p>\n

"It's always an honour to play her. I just didn't want to go out like really bad, so I just wanted to try my best.<\/p>\n

"I don't know if there's any little kids out here today, but I was a little kid watching her play and just to be on the court playing against her for me is a dream."<\/p>\n
