Australian Open<\/a> champions Jannik Sinner<\/a> and Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> have not moved up the singles rankings despite their triumphs in Melbourne.<\/p>\n

As of Monday, Sinner consolidates his hold on a career-best No.4 spot in the ATP rankings, and former top-ranked Sabalenka stays at No.2 in the WTA rankings.<\/p>\n

Sinner rallied from two-sets-to-love down to beat Daniil Medvedev<\/a> 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 in the men's singles final on Sunday night to claim his first grand slam championship.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka clinched back-to-back titles with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Zheng Qinwen<\/a> on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

In the men's rankings, Novak Djokovic<\/a> will hold the top spot despite a rare defeat in the semi finals at Melbourne Park \u2014 his earliest exit from the Australian Open in five years.<\/p>\n

Medvedev missed the opportunity to move past No.2 Carlos Alcaraz with a win against Sinner. He remains at No.3.<\/p>\n

Semi finalists Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev are fifth and sixth respectively with Holger Rune, Hubert Hurkacz, Taylor Fritz and Stefanos Tsitsipas rounding out the top 10.<\/p>\n

Despite her third-round exit Down Under, Iga Swiatek holds on to the top women's ranking, ahead of Sabalenka.<\/p>\n

Teen sensation Coco Gauff rises to equal her career-high at No.3 with fellow American Jessica Pegula improving one spot to No.4.<\/p>\n

Elena Rybakina falls two positions to No.5 after failing to defend the ranking points she gained for her run to the final at last year\u2019s tournament.<\/p>\n

Zheng Qinwen, who made her first appearance in a major final as runner-up to Sabalenka, breaks into the top 10 for the first time, up from No.15 to No.7 behind Ons Jabeur.<\/p>\n

Mark\u00e9ta Vondrou\u0161ov\u00e1, Maria Sakkari and Karol\u00edna Muchov\u00e1 complete the top 10.<\/p>\n

Women's doubles champions Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens<\/a> also jumped Australian Storm Hunter<\/a> in the women's doubles rankings. Their climb ends Hunter's 11-week run in the leading place.<\/p>\n

Fellow Australian Matt Ebden also rose to No.2 in the men's doubles rankings<\/a> behind only his championship-winning partner Rohan Bopanna after their heroics in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
