Travis Head<\/a> has been hailed for a moment of brilliance in the second Test against the West Indies<\/a>, running out Kavem Hodge from short leg.<\/p>\n

With Nathan Lyon bowling around the wicket, Hodge flicked the ball to the legside and set off for a run.<\/p>\n

However, the sharp reflexes of Head collected the ball and flicked it back on to the stumps with one hand with the square leg umpire sending it to the third umpire for a review.<\/p>\n

"That's a sharp bit of work from Travis Head … it was a desperate lunge from Hodge to get back," Australian great Adam Gilchrist said on Fox Cricket.<\/p>\n

With the West Indies \ufeffat 4-148 and leading by 170 runs, Mark Waugh described it as a "big moment".<\/p>\n

Footage captured Hodge's bat over the line but in the air with the West Indies batter visibly dejected on screen as the third umpire gave him out. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Big, big moment in this Test match, perhaps pivotal," Gilchrist said.<\/p>\n

"… Hodge cannot believe it."<\/p>\n

"It's a cruel game at times, that's a brilliant bit of work … just needed to slide his bat rather than put it in," Waugh added.<\/p>\n
