A\ufeffryna Sabalenka<\/a> has continued to win over tennis fans with her "weird" post-game speeches – and she might have saved her best for last at the Australian Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After cruising through the tournament without dropping a set<\/a>, the world No.2 surged towards a second-straight title on Saturday night, defeating Zheng Qinwen<\/a> 6-3, 6-2 on Rod Laver Arena.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka's performances on the court have cemented her as arguably the best player on the women's circuit, but she has proven to be just as entertaining before and after matches.<\/p>\n

During her winner's speech, Sabalenka thanked her team for their hard work during the two-week grand slam, before taking a hilariously cheeky dig at them to cap it off.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"It's been an amazing couple of weeks, I couldn't imagine myself lifting this trophy one more time," she said.<\/p>\n

"I'm speechless and as always, my speech is going to be weird – it's not my superpower, but I will try my best.<\/p>\n

"I put a bit of pressure on them [the team] after the Brisbane final and we did a little bit better in this one.<\/p>\n

"Thank you so much for being by my side no matter what … without you, I wouldn't be able to achieve so much in this sport.<\/p>\n

"But I mean, without me, you wouldn't be that good as well – let's accept that fact."<\/p>\n

In a nice piece of synergy, Sabalenka became the first female player to win back-to-back Australian Open women's finals since fellow Belarusian star Victoria Azarenka in 2012 and 2013.<\/p>\n

And in a rare moment for the champ\ufeff, the 25-year-old thanked her family back home – but she did it in trademark fashion.<\/p>\n

"I never speak about my family in the winner's speeches, but I actually have to say – thank you so much for everything they have done for me," Sabalenka said.<\/p>\n

"Should I keep speaking in English? Because they're not gonna understand me. It's okay, they will translate.<\/p>\n

"I love you so much, you are my biggest motivation … everything I'm doing, I do it for you. I'm sending love and I miss you so much."<\/p>\n

Back-to-back titles at Melbourne Park have bookended a rollercoaster 12 months for Sabalenka, who suffered a devastating defeat in the US Open final last year against Coco Gauff.<\/p>\n

But her return Down Under – playing in front of fans\ufeff that adore her and on a court that she has an equal amount of love for – has catapulted Sabalenka into true superstardom.<\/p>\n

"That's crazy – I still can't believe it," she said during an interview with Nine as the crowd erupted behind her.<\/p>\n

"I'm still trying to process, it's just a dream you know.<\/p>\n

"I think I'm definitely a different person and player [than last year] – I have more experience playing in the last stages of grand slams.<\/p>\n

\"'That's<\/p>\n

"It was a sad moment for me in the US Open … there was some tough moments and that loss motivated me so much.<\/p>\n

"It's more emotional when you win it the first time, and the second time is a relief … it's something special.<\/p>\n
