A\ufeffustralian cricket legend Allan Border<\/a> has described Kevin Sinclair's first Test wicket celebration as "the best ever" after a chaotic second day of the Gabba match<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The West Indies<\/a> started the day at 8-266 and managed to reach 311 thanks to Sinclair's debut half-century. <\/p>\n

Australia's day then started in chaotic circumstances with Steve Smith failing in his new opening spot again to depart for six<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Australia then collapsed to lose four wickets for 16 runs with Marnus Labuschagne, Cameron Green and Travis Head all going cheaply. <\/p>\n

However, a counter-attacking innings of 65 from Alex Carey helped his side get back in the contest before Shamar Joseph claimed his wicket. <\/p>\n

Mitchell Starc departed soon after at 7-161 but Usman Khawaja<\/a> kept ticking along at the other end to save Australia's innings. <\/p>\n

Eventually the opener fell for 75, nicking to Alick Athanaze at slip and handing Sinclair his first Test wicket. <\/p>\n

\ufeffThe off-spinner then ran off and completed a front flip into a backflip mid-air. <\/p>\n

"If I did this I'd tear every muscle in my body," Border laughed. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Fox Cricket, Sinclair was delighted after Alex Carey attacked him during his first few overs having been 0-48 off 6.2 overs prior to the wicket. <\/p>\n

"I'm feeling relieved. My first Test match bowling, (I was) kind of nervous … getting the first wicket changes everything for me now," he said. <\/p>\n

Despite being 8-242, Australia continued to show fight with Pat Cummins scoring his first half-century as captain.<\/p>\n

Eventually Nathan Lyon would fall for 19 as Australia declared 9-289, trailing by 22 runs. <\/p>\n

Sinclair recovered to finish with 1-53 from eight overs while Roach (3-47) and \ufeffAlzarri Joseph (4-84) were the chief destroyers. <\/p>\n

With eight overs to navigate, the West Indies openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul\ufeff looked as if they'd navigated the half an hour left of play.<\/p>\n

However, \ufeffthe final over brought Chanderpaul undone, nicking behind on four off Josh Hazlewood as Australia successfully reviewed the not out decision. <\/p>\n
