I always try to write something for Ukraine, about Ukraine.<\/p>\n "I think it's my mission here. If I do well … I'm just trying to give the signal to Ukraine that I'm really proud of it."<\/p>\n Earlier, a junior player from Ukraine found themselves in hot water with the nation's tennis federation\ufeff after shaking hands with a Russian player<\/a> following their girl's singles match.<\/p>\n Yastremska believed the girl's actions were an oversight and that she mistakenly shook her opponent's hand in the heat of the moment.<\/p>\n "You know, Ukrainians, we have our position," she said.<\/p>\n "We are not shaking hands but I think she's still a little bit young, not so experienced. It can happen to everyone.<\/p>\n "I cannot judge her, because I don't know what was in her head. Did she do this on purpose or not on purpose?
