Brisbane Heat<\/a> batter Josh Brown has pulled off a record 140 runs from just 57 deliveries, carrying his side into the BBL<\/a> final with a 54-run win over the Adelaide Strikers on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Brown's insane century is the third highest ever recorded in the league's history, behind Melbourne Stars champion Glenn Maxwell<\/a> (154* off 64, 2022) and his teammate Marcus Stoinis<\/a> (147* off 79, 2020).<\/p>\n

Dubbed one of the "best innings" his Heat teammates have witnessed, Brown smacked a whopping 12 sixes, reaching his ton in just 41 balls.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffThat's probably one of the best innings I've ever seen in my life," Heat teammate Max Bryant said on Fox during the Strikers' innings.<\/p>\n

The Heat went on to make a massive 7-214 thanks to Brown's early heroics.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old's 140 was also his biggest individual score in BBL history, as well as the biggest ever for his team.<\/p>\n

"This is a hitting display rarely seen in the Big Bash," Mark Howard said on Fox.<\/p>\n

"That is one of the great innings we've ever seen."<\/p>\n

"It's the innings of a lifetime," Mark Waugh added.<\/p>\n

\ufeffBrown's mum also spoke after her son's unbelievable innings, gushing over his rise to the top of the league.<\/p>\n

"I'm just beyond stoked, he's just the most amazing lad\ufeff, so proud," his mum said on Seven.<\/p>\n

Brisbane went on to bowl out the Strikers for just 160 runs o 119.5 overs, who were chasing 215 for victory.<\/p>\n

Heat fast bowler Spencer Johnson took an impressive 3-20 in the victory.\ufeff<\/p>\n
