{"id":36160,"date":"2021-02-18T06:12:47","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T07:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=36160"},"modified":"2021-02-18T08:16:28","modified_gmt":"2021-02-18T08:16:28","slug":"karachi-to-host-national-womens-football-championship-from-march-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=36160","title":{"rendered":"Karachi to host National Women\u2019s Football Championship from March 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 5px 5% 10px 5%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Football.jpg\" width=\"742\" height=\"486\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Karachi: National Women&#8217;s Football Championship is all set to take place from March 8 to April 3 in Karachi, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) announced.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As many as 20 teams from across the country will feature in this edition of the competition while 59 matches will be played.<\/p>\n<p>The teams are divided into four group of five while for the first time in the history of the competition, a Development Stage will be held parallel to the knockout stages, which will see teams dropping out from the Group Stage take on each other in a small knockout competition.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the top two teams from each of the four groups will play a conventional Knockout Stage, the winner of which will be declared the NWFC champion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/high-standards-football-pakistan-techincal-director-pff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018Have set high standards for football in Pakistan\u2019 Techincal Director \u2013 PFF<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>PFF Normalisation Committee Chairman Mr. Haroon Malik said:<\/strong> &#8220;The National Women&#8217;s Football Championship is set to kick off and I&#8217;m extremely delighted. Pakistan Football Federation&#8217;s primary aim is to provide development opportunities to players, the MOST important part of the football eco system.
