Players will be vying for the biggest prize pool in Australian Open<\/a> history, with both men's and women's singles winners set to take home more than $3 million.<\/p>\n

The total prize pool is $86.5 million, a $10 million increase from $76.5 million in 2023 and up from $74 million in 2022.<\/p>\n

Just 10 years ago the prize pool was $40 million, putting into context the whopping money on offer for today's stars. <\/p>\n

This year's figure has also more than quadrupled in the last 20 years when it was $19.1 million.<\/p>\n
