T\ufeffhe changes at Wests Tigers<\/a> have continued, with head of recruitment Scott Fulton departing the club, effective immediately.<\/p>\n

Fulton joined the club under the previous management, but his relationship with new head coach Benji Marshall<\/a> had reportedly been strained throughout his tenure.<\/p>\n

The club confirmed the news to Wide World of Sports on Tuesday morning, along with other key personnel changes under the guidance of interim CEO, Shane Richardson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The axing comes \ufeffless than a week after the club sealed its biggest signing in years after Jarome Luai inked a five-year contract<\/a> from 2025 onwards – a deal that was largely driven by the influential combination of Marshall and Richardson.<\/p>\n

Fulton arrived at the Tigers in May 2023 and helped land young playmakers Latu Fainu<\/a> and Jayden Sullivan<\/a> to the club, but \ufeffhis issues with Marshall and the introduction of Richardson ultimately led to his premature dismissal.<\/p>\n

The decision comes less than a month after the joint-venture moved on from chairman Lee Hagipantelis and former chief executive Justin Pascoe, who had been at the helm during their two-straight wooden spoon campaigns.<\/p>\n

The exiled duo initially brought Fulton into the fold without the knowledge of both Marshall and former head coach Tim Sheens, \ufeffending his previous relationship with the Manly Sea Eagles that helped streamline their recruitment and retention process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
