World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> has been caught in an awkward situation after her win over Daria Kasatkina at the Brisbane International<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka accounted for her opponent in two sets with a 6-1 6-4 scoreline<\/a>, and was then interviewed by Aussie tennis icon Jelena Dokic<\/a> on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

Dokic wanted to surprise Sabalenka with the fact British film star Jude Law \ufeffhad been watching in the stands, but any clues only left the 25-year-old Belarus player confused.<\/p>\n

"There's a very special person here tonight," Dokic said. "It's an actor, and he's shooting a video in Queensland, and he's in Sherlock Holmes, do you maybe know who I'm talking about?"<\/p>\n

Sabalenka was stumped as Dokic quizzed her on whether she'd seen Sherlock Holmes<\/em>, The Talented Mr Ripley<\/em> or The Holiday<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"Can you show me him?" she laughed, adding "I feel so bad."<\/p>\n

Dokic eventually put her out of her misery. <\/p>\n

"He watched your match tonight, he was in the crowd, and he was cheering for you \u2014 it's Jude Law," Dokic said.<\/p>\n

The crowd cheered and Sabalenka responded "wow \u2026 thank you so much for the support".<\/p>\n

But Sabalenka still seemed a bit miffed as the crowd warmly laughed along with her.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old's interview wasn't all about Law though, opening up \ufeffon the importance of playing in front of a crowd after the different circumstances during COVID-19.<\/p>\n

"Without you guys \ufeffit's not really fun to play," she said.<\/p>\n

"During the COVID time it was really sad and boring and I really missed you so much and I'm really happy to see all you guys here and feel the support and the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

"You guys make these matches special and you bring the atmosphere, thank you so much for that."<\/p>\n
