Rugby league player and recent Raiders recruit Troy Dargan has died in a motorbike crash, says his management.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old was on holiday with family in the Cook Islands when the accident occurred on Christmas eve.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffHe and his family were holidaying in the Cook Islands where TJ was involved in a motorcycle accident.<\/p>\n

"TJ is a beloved son to Troy and Wendy, loving brother to Tamalee and Korokai, and friend to many many others.<\/p>\n

"TJ will he greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family."<\/p>\n

Dargan played two Test matches for the Cook Islands, and also had Indigenous Australian heritage.<\/p>\n

While he spent much of his rugby league career in lower grade competitions, Dargan played two NRL games for the Rabbitohs in 2020.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHe recently signed a development deal with Canberra and was due to start a two-year stint with the Raiders.<\/p>\n
