Australian captain Pat Cummins<\/a> says he's buoyed by the prospect of another pace-friendly MCG pitch during the Boxing Day Test<\/a> at the MCG.<\/p>\n

Arriving in Melbourne on Friday, Cummins declared Australia are reinvigorated and ready to challenge Pakistan again.\ufeff<\/p>\n

After a whopping 360-run victory over the visitors during the first Test in Perth<\/a>, the fast bowler\ufeff hopes a similar pitch will guide Australia to victory.<\/p>\n

"My first few Boxing Days, there wasn't much in it (the pitch) for us quicks," Cummins told media at Melbourne Airport on Friday.<\/p>\n

"Now it's been a bit green, bit of grass, some good pace about it.<\/p>\n

"Hopefully much the same."<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old also reflected on a successful year across all forms of the game, headlined by the recent Cricket World Cup victory over host nation, India.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\ufeff"There's been a lot of experiences this year. You've got to use them to hopefully help you," Cummins said.<\/p>\n

"I feel in a really good place with my game and captaincy\ufeff."<\/p>\n

During the week in the Indian Premier League (IPL), \ufeffCummins was sold to the Sunrisers Hyderabad for a massive $\ufeff3.66 million<\/a>, before Mitchell Starc broke all IPL Auction records, when he was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders for $4.42 million.<\/p>\n
