A\ufeffussie boxing<\/a> star Liam Paro<\/a> has produced one of the best performances of his career, dominating American Montana Love in San Francisco, and is now eyeing a meeting with Devin Haney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paro knocked out Love in the sixth round of their WBO super lightweight bout, putting the entire division on notice.<\/p>\n

The Queenslander was fighting on the undercard of Haney and Regis Prograis and improved his record to 24-0.<\/p>\n

Paro's win completed a remarkable comeback from injury after over a year out from the ring following a facial fracture and an Achilles issue.<\/p>\n

After a somewhat even battle in the opening five rounds, Paro flicked a switch in the sixth, putting Love on the canvas twice before landing the final blow.<\/p>\n

Post-fight, Paro spoke of his delight to return to the arena and stated his intention to fight the winner out of Haney and Prograis. The Australian went close to fighting Prograis earlier this year but injury halted his chance at a world title bout. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'm a man of my word, I said what I was going to do, it was a slow start but f–k, it feels good to be back after 14 months out of the ring," he said.<\/p>\n

"He's a good boxer but I said I could match him in anything, I believe I matched him with the boxing too and then he started slowing down pretty fast.<\/p>\n

"Bring on a world title. I want the winner of the main event, I'm ready for a world title, I've been ready for ages and I just cemented my spot at the top of this division now give me the best names."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Superstar lightweight American Ryan Garcia also floated the possibility of taking on Paro.<\/p>\n

\ufeffAfter Paro's win, Haney went on to defeat Prograis by unanimous decision, becoming a two-division champion.<\/p>\n
