Travis Head<\/a> admits the enormity of his semi-final and final performances to help Australia to the World Cup win over India<\/a> are still sinking in, as he arrived home in Adelaide on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Head recorded massive knocks of 62 in the semi final and 137 in the final<\/a>, guiding Australia to an unlikely six-wicket victory over the hosts, who were undefeated up until the biggest game of the tournament.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It won't sink in for a long time," Head said at Adelaide Airport on Tuesday.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I said after the game I was looking forward to the 10- and 20-year reunions\ufeff. It's an incredible bunch of blokes which were able to achieve some pretty special things throughout the 12 months.<\/p>\n

"Obviously the Test Championship, a World Cup final, to be involved in both of them is quite incredible\ufeff."<\/p>\n

As for his hilarious World Cup celebrations<\/a>, which were shared largely across social media, Head says he doesn't regret the antics, instead holding them as memories he will cherish forever.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I probably threw myself under the bus a little bit with a few of the photos I posted throughout the couple days after (the World Cup win)\ufeff," he said.<\/p>\n

"You've got to celebrate it the right way. I think we did that.<\/p>\n

"There was a few standouts off the field as well\ufeff. It's just what makes the team so enjoyable to be around. Enjoy each other's successes, enjoy it as a team."<\/p>\n
