Warriors<\/a> captain Tohu Harris has inked a fresh one-year deal, giving the club an off-season boost.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Harris still had a year left on his current contract, with this new one to keep him at Mt Smart Stadium until the end of the 2025 NRL<\/a> season.<\/p>\n

Harris has spent the past six seasons at the Warriors, where he has played 117 games and scored 18 tries.<\/p>\n

\"Tohu<\/p>\n

The 2024 season will be his third as skipper.<\/p>\n

"It's tremendous for us knowing we'll have Tohu for another season," Warriors recruitment boss Andrew McFadden said.<\/p>\n

"He has been so critical in helping us to where we are today, a job he started in the tough times away from home in Australia."<\/p>\n

Warriors' Dally M coach of the year Andrew Webster \u2013 who himself only recently signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the end of 2028 \u2013 said he is a "huge fan" of Harris.<\/p>\n

"He's an unbelievable player and person who means so much to our club," Webster said.<\/p>\n

"Without him and his leadership on and off the field we certainly wouldn't be where we are right now.<\/p>\n

"When I first talked to him before returning here I was so impressed by his passion and what he wants for the club \u2026 now he has the opportunity to take the team further as we seek more improvement."<\/p>\n

Harris will be reunited with his predecessor Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in 2024.<\/p>\n
