Australia's star-studded women marched into the Dubai Sevens semi-finals on Sunday where they will meet an improving France at 8.42pm (AEDT).<\/p>\n

Tim Walsh's side were far too strong for the United States in a 32-5 romp while New Zealand will meet Canada in the other semi.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We've put in a pretty big preseason," Australia's Sharni Smale said.<\/p>\n

"We know that they're (USA) a physical team. We're not the biggest team on the series. Australians never are, but it really is about attitude and how you apply yourself."<\/p>\n

Smale said Australia were aware of the French threats.<\/p>\n

"We've played against the (France) 'B' team over in Dublin during preseason. We know as a 15s team that they are quite physical as well, but this sevens team, they'll fight for everything, they'll chase everything down. So we have to make sure that we're really tight."<\/p>\n
