Stamping their authority in just the second over, the Heat's Nicola Hancock\ufeff bowled Mack in commanding fashion.<\/p>\n

"Enough to silence the crowd for at least a split second\ufeff," Mel Jones said on Fox commentary.<\/p>\n

The Strikers slow start was quickly forgotten, as Tahlia McGrath and Laura Wolvaardt got to work with bat in hand.\ufeff<\/p>\n

But\ufeff the partnership of 66 off 52 was cut short when Hancock took her second of the night, removing McGrath for 38 off 34 deliveries.<\/p>\n

Wolvaardt went on to make a neat 39 off 33 balls, but the Strikers only managed to record a score of 5-125, leaving Brisbane needing 126 runs for victory.<\/p>\n

\ufeffWill ball in hand, the Strikers were ruthless, with captain McGrath on a hattrick, able to remove dangerous Heat duo Mignon du Preez (13 off 20) and Laura Harris for a golden duck.<\/p>\n
