Click here to start watching!<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n Brady was one of the 72 players who had to go through a hard lockdown<\/a> – two weeks stuck in a hotel room, not allowed to leave for any reason – after flying to Australia in January because a passenger on their flight tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival.<\/p>\n Discussing her approach to the hard quarantine period after a number of fellow stars spoke out against it<\/a>, Brady said she read a number of google reviews as she questioned whether she could get through the tough 14 days.<\/p>\n "Honestly, before I even came to Australia, I was googling people's experiences in hard lockdown – just to see what it was like," she told Nine during her on-court interview<\/p>\n "I was joking with someone else, which I shouldn't have joked about, but I honestly didn't think I could do it."<\/p>\n Brady later revealed Tennis Australia equipped her with a treadmill to make life easier, but admitted she had nothing to complain about given there are "way worse things going on in the world".<\/p>\n "A lot of people were complaining and I told myself I wasn't going to complain," she said.<\/p>\n "I mean, there are way worse things going on in the world than me being stuck in a hotel room for 14 days.<\/p>\n "Tennis Australia provided us with a bike. The last few days I had a treadmill. I had weights. I was able to train and work out. It was a small hotel room, but I was able to do everything that I needed to do to stay as fit as possible.<\/p>\n "If I started feeling bad for myself or started complaining, I think it would have made the 14 days a lot harder than it was.
